Applications of Ptfe Rod
There are two types of PTFE rods: push rods and molded rods. Among known plastics, PTFE has the best chemical corrosion resistance and dielectric properties. It can be used at temperatures ranging from -180°C to +260°C and has the lowest coefficient of friction. It is mainly suitable for long products and non-standard mechanical parts, such as seals/gaskets, rings, wear-resistant plates/seats, electrical insulation parts, corrosion-resistant industries, mechanical components, liners, petroleum and natural gas, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, and instrument and equipment manufacturers.

PTFE Rod for Processing Various Liners Working in Corrosive Media
PTFE rod is an unfilled PTFE resin (may contain recycled PTFE resin) that is suitable for processing various liners, sealing materials, lubricants, and electrical insulation parts used in corrosive media at various frequencies. It is formed by molding, paste extrusion, or plunger extrusion.
Product Introduction
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), also known as T eflon or F4, comes in two forms: molded and machined. Its products have a wide range of uses and exhibit extremely superior comprehensive performance, including high and low temperature resistance (-192℃-260℃), corrosion resistance (strong acid, strong alkali, aqua regia, etc.), weather resistance, high insulation, high lubrication, non-adhesion, and non-toxicity. PTFE is a polymer compound made by polymerizing tetrafluoroethylene, with the structural formula of -[-CF2-CF2-]n-. It is widely known as the "Plastic King" due to its excellent chemical stability and corrosion resistance. PTFE is one of the most corrosion-resistant materials in the world, and is resistant to all known acids, alkalis, salts, and oxidants, including aqua regia. It is widely used in various applications that require acid and alkali resistance, organic solvent resistance, sealing, high lubrication, non-adhesion, electrical insulation, and good aging resistance, with excellent temperature resistance (able to work long-term at temperatures ranging from -180℃ to +250℃). PTFE itself is non-toxic to humans, but one of the raw materials used in its production, perfluorooctanoic acid ammonium (PFOA), is believed to have carcinogenic effects.
Temperature: -20~250℃ (-4~+482°F), allowing for sudden cooling and heating, or alternating hot and cold operations.
Pressure: -0.1~6.4Mpa (full vacuum to 64kgf/cm2)
