PTFE Gasket

(Total 15 Products)

Ptfe Gasket is a type of gasket made from Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene. PTFE is known for its high chemical resistance, low coefficient of friction, and excellent electrical insulation properties. PTFE Gaskets are widely used in various industries such as chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and water treatment.
PTFE Gaskets are used to seal two surfaces together to prevent leakage of fluids or gases. They are commonly used in applications where the temperature and pressure are high, and the media is corrosive or aggressive. PTFE Gaskets are available in different shapes and sizes, and they can be customized to meet specific requirements.
PTFE Gaskets have several advantages over other types of gaskets. They have excellent chemical resistance, which makes them suitable for use in harsh environments. They can withstand a wide range of temperatures, from -200°C to +260°C, and they are resistant to UV radiation, ozone, and weathering. PTFE Gaskets also have low friction, which makes them ideal for use in applications where sliding or rotating movements are involved.

NO stick PTFE TEE

Product Description

PTFE material resists attack by heat and virtually all chemicals. It is insoluble in all organics with the exception of a few exotic strong base chemicals. Its electrical properties are excellent. Although it has high impact strength, its resistance to wear, tensile strength and creep resistance are low in comparison to other engineering type thermoplastics. Mechanical properties can be improved by adding fillers such as glass fibers, bronze, Delrin, carbon, and graphite.
PTFE rod, sheet and tube exhibits the lowest electric constant and lowest dissipation factors of all solid materials. Because of its strong chemical linkage, PTFE tube, rod and sheet shows very little attraction for dissimilar molecules. This results in a coefficient of friction as low as 0.05. Once again, because of this chemical bonding, PTFE plastic resins are virtually insoluble

Why choose our PTFE gasket?

There are several reasons why you should choose our PTFE gasket:

1. High chemical resistance: PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is known for its excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, bases, solvents, and corrosive materials. This makes it suitable for use in various industries, such as chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and food processing.

2. Temperature resistance: PTFE gaskets can withstand high temperatures, ranging from -200°C to +260°C (-328°F to +500°F). This makes them ideal for applications that involve extreme temperature conditions.

3. Low friction: PTFE has a very low coefficient of friction, which means that it offers excellent non-stick properties. This makes it easier to install and remove the gasket without damaging the mating surfaces.

4. Excellent sealing properties: PTFE gaskets provide a reliable and tight seal, preventing leaks and ensuring the integrity of the system. They are also resistant to compression set, meaning that they maintain their shape and sealing properties over time.

5. FDA approved: Our PTFE gaskets are FDA approved, making them suitable for use in food and beverage applications where hygiene and safety are critical.

6. Customizable: We offer a wide range of PTFE gasket sizes and shapes to meet your specific requirements. Whether you need a standard gasket or a custom design, we can provide a solution that fits your needs.

7. Long-lasting and cost-effective: PTFE gaskets have a long service life and require minimal maintenance, resulting in cost savings over time. Additionally, their high performance and reliability help to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency.

Overall, our PTFE gaskets offer superior chemical resistance, temperature resistance, sealing properties, and customization options, making them a reliable choice for a wide range of applications.
