PTFE rod is an unfilled PTFE resin (may contain recycled PTFE resin) that is suitable for processing various liners, sealing materials, lubricants, and electrical insulation parts used in corrosive media at various frequencies. It is formed by molding, paste extrusion, or plunger extrusion.
Applications of PTFE Rod
There are two types of PTFE rods: push rods and molded rods. Among known plastics, PTFE has the best chemical corrosion resistance and dielectric properties. It can be used at temperatures ranging from -180°C to +260°C and has the lowest coefficient of friction.
